The idea for this project came from the growing sense that major search engines have changed their algorithms to favor large, heavily promoted websites, sponsored YouTube content, and commercially driven material.

As a result, smaller sites and alternative video platforms are often buried in common search results.

A new small web catalog has been created where useful or interesting websites are manually added, so others can discover them too.
